MCAS X is mobilizing voters to elect County Commissioners who will replace the failed leadership at Multnomah County Animal Services and end the abuse, neglect, and needless deaths happening under their watch.
We dedicate this campaign to the memory of Fig & Petunia, two bonded dogs surrendered to MCAS by their elderly owner only to be allowed to starve to death by the Director of MCAS. Read in “Stories”

Multnomah County Animal Services is operating without effective leadership—lacking professional shelter expertise, accountability, and operational competence. This leadership failure has resulted in inhumane conditions and, too often, deadly outcomes for the animals in its care.
